Possibly the most historic, iconic and beautiful places in the world, Rome is a destination that is perfect all year round. It just so happens that January was the month for me to visit, and what a way to start off an absolutely mad year.
After a smooth flight, bus and train journey, we finally reached our hotel just on the outskirts on the city.
